for SB-75
FAQ
#01 What is the SB-75?
The SB-75 is a passive stereo soundbar speaker. SB stands for Soundbar, 75 for the standard size fitting below a typical 75” or 77” screen.
#02 Does it have a center channel?
No, the SB-75 is equivalent to a pair of stereo speakers placed left and right of a TV or screen, just in the form factor of a wall-mount soundbar. The center space is acoustically filled with the so-called phantom center image, similar to a pair of stereo speakers.
#03 Is it an active speaker?
No, the SB-75 is intended to be connected to a stereo amplifier, for example a Lyngdorf TDAI, or a 2-channel power amp.
#04 Does it provide any upmixing or immersive effects?
No, the SB-75 itself is a passive loudspeaker with a left and right channel. Any virtual sound effects have to come from a connected processor or integrated amplifier.
#05 Is it for custom installation or for normal living rooms?
For both. The matt-black finish and rigid overall construction make it suitable for installations below or behind a sound-transparent screen, while the rounded edges and elegant midnight grey fabric cover by Gabriel also allows a living-room-friendly placement. Custom colors are available on special order to suit any room and decor.
#06 Is it designed for movies or for music?
The SB-75 is fitted with the same woofers and tweeters as a pair of FR-2 loudspeakers and provides a very high level of sound performance. It was not designed for only movies or only music specifically but provides outstanding sound performance regardless.
#07 What other versions are available?
Additional to the SB-75 standard version other widths and colors are available on custom order and with extra delivery time.
