Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 amplifier in white furniture
Lyngdorf FR-2 award

“Hi-fi from the future” – that’s how Polish hi-fi magazine StereoLife describes our TDAI-2210 after a detailed and enthusiastic review. In a competitive field of all-in-one systems, the TDAI-2210 stands out for its design, versatility, and exceptional sound. With RoomPerfect™, a powerful streaming platform, an all-new control app, and flexibility that suits both everyday use and critical listening, this is a system that truly looks, feels, and plays like the future.

Below you can read a full English summary of the review and at the bottom of the page, there is a link to the full Polish review.

If you’re looking for a really good, versatile, and functional all-in-one system in the 15–25 thousand PLN range, you can’t complain about a lack of interesting options. The Hegel H190v tempts with its classic design and SoundEngine technology, rich features, and a very capable streaming section. The Norwegians even added a phono input, headphone jack, and easy TV integration. The Naim Uniti Nova may no longer be the newest player on the field, but it still attracts with its refined ecosystem, excellent design, and the touch of magic that surrounds the brand. The AVM Inspiration CS 2.3 adds a CD drive and its own streaming world, while the Lindemann Musicbook Combo shows how much you can squeeze out of a compact enclosure. Until recently, the luxurious Devialet Expert 140 Pro would also have been on this list, but it’s no longer available. A pity. However, when it comes to modernity in the broadest sense, the Lyngdorf TDAI-2210 blows all its rivals away. Even compared with the most advanced ones, it looks, works, and sounds like hi-fi from the future.

Let’s not be afraid to say it – in terms of form, features, and versatility, it crushes them completely. And then there’s RoomPerfect, the new excellent control app, and the option to add another module on the back panel – simply out of this world. Okay, not everyone dreams of an amplifier that fits into a small TV cabinet and weighs less than five kilograms, but this really has its advantages. If only its “eco-friendliness” meant poor sound, if that little black box struggled to drive average speakers and repelled us with its lack of emotion… But no. This little thing plays wonderfully. Even, clean, dynamic, precise, lively, and spacious. On top of that, if you just want to watch a movie and enjoy powerful sound with bass that feels like there’s a giant subwoofer standing next to your speakers, you just need to pick the right EQ setting. Of course, it’s not quite the same as having a real subwoofer, but it comes close. And you don’t need to bring another big box into your home. Just look at the photos below and see how the system looks when paired with the TDAI-2210 and the wall-mounted FR-2 speakers I tested a few months ago. They can really play. Honestly, this is one of the very few design-focused systems I could truly use every day without complaining that it feels more like pâté than caviar compared to real audiophile gear.

And what if you need something else? If you’ve fallen in love with the sound of tubes or class A transistor amplifiers? Well, nothing stops you from using the TDAI-2210 purely as an advanced preamplifier with digital inputs, a built-in streamer, room correction system, and several other extras you won’t find in classic equipment. For some audiophiles, Lyngdorf will also be the perfect “backup system” – a device that has everything in one box and is ready to play without the whole ritual of switching on and warming up multiple components. It may sound strange, but many people with very advanced, complex setups eventually start looking for something “normal” – a system that doesn’t fuss, doesn’t ask questions, is always ready to go, and that the rest of the family can operate without checking whether dad was testing cables again last night. Whether you plan to use the full TDAI-2210 or just its “bigger half,” I think you’ll be very, very satisfied with it.
